In Kick Punch Fu Combat Art The concept of belts and rank is probably one that most people associate with , even if they only have a passing interest in the subject. In KICK PUNCH FU, our belts reflect a member's proven level of competence and (just as importantly) the progression of colors reflects an inner journey that never truly ends. Each belt achieved is truly an accomplishment worthy of respect. It is also worth noting that achieving a belt isn't just a matter of "spending enough time" in a previous belt. In order to achieve their next rank, a student must demonstrate their proficiency in their current belt's techniques, to include Basic Moves, Sparring, and Forms. KICK PUNCH FU exams are made to measure Soul , Mind , Body , Internal power and External power along with knowledge measurement. Our aim in KICK PUNCH FUis personal development , others development and surroundings/environment development Thus our concept when examining
1- Fitness Level 2- Technical Level 3- Knowledge & Information 4- Sequence Dynamic Demonstration 5- Fighting Ability Exams/Builts are devided in to two categories: 1-Colored belts - before black belt Individual students in an official class should be tested within their school’s regulation. The WKPFF does not promote belts unless taking courses through WKPFF or its official offices. Instructors/School charter holders with a 1st Dan Degree rank or equivalent and above may test in their style by submitting a high quality DVD, or some form of media, of them performing the required materials for their rank. Board members of WKPFF will evaluate technical skills and when applicable accuracy of performed materials to determine promotion status.
A student should hold the belt for at least 3 months before being entitled to exam for the next belt/level 2- Black Belt Ranks and Titles (DANS): The color black is created when all the colors of the light spectrum have been absorbed into an object. That object has "taken control" of the colors and retained them. The colors of the spectrum are bound together and are not reflected off an object, resulting in the absence of color which we call black.
